Call Back

Image above shows what a Call Back box would look like

What is Call Back?

Call Back tends to be considered as an authentication method in the sense that if someone externally has logged onto their account within the organisation, they would be told to disconnect off the network as soon as they have been identified by it. An example of this would be that if there is a site engineer and they have accessed their business account, they will get a call saying that they would need to disconnect from the server to make there data more secure.

The reason why this is considered to help network security is becuase it would mean that specific people can access the server. This method tends to thrwat any impersonators.
