How software and network security can keep systems and data secure?

Handshaking is where two device would hold communication. The way that it works is that one of the devices that are used to hold this communication will send a message to the other device which would then be considered as an estabished channel for communication between the two devices.The two devices would then exchange  multiple messages between each other which would then enable the communication protocol to take place.

An example of this would be if two mobile devices exchange a number of multiple messages which will then be able to then enable that particular communication protocol.
