Intrusion Detection System is self explantary in which it is a sstem which is designed to detect whether someone is trying to gain unahtorised access into a place. This can be done in any form of facility whether it is a lesuire facility to an organisation facility. The reason why some organisations may tend to use this is because they have seen people gain unathorised access into the organisation and are trying to prevent it from happening to them again. This can be used to detect any whether any physical components are being taken or whether it is any software based components that are being taken.

 

The reasson why this is a method of making data more secure is because if someone is to try and get any software bsed components tahn it means that they would set off an alar which will alert people who are near that something is taking place that shouldn't be in which it has been performed by someone who has gain unathorised access.
